Important instructions for patients
- For births: Bring a family booklet or a family registration statement with a personal photo.
- For children: Bring a family book.
- It is necessary to bring personal identification when registering an appointment or when visiting clinics in the hospital.
- When visiting clinics for the first time, bring the complete previous medical file (previous tests - medical reports - photos).
- Bring medications when visiting the clinic.
- Upon graduation from the hospital, make sure to provide you with a discharge report, prescription, and an accurate date for visiting clinics.
Instructions and procedures necessary for patients:
- Visit the functional testing department on the first floor on the specified date and hour determined by the doctor.
- Refrain from eating food and drinks containing caffeine and smoking 3 hours before.
- Avoid stressful work on the day of the test.
- Wear comfortable clothes and comfortable shoes for the test.
- Shaving chest hair.
- The patient should bring all the medications he is taking, along with an ECG, if any.
- Stop some medications according to the doctor’s instructions.
- Visit the cardiac care center on the first floor on the specified date and hour determined by the doctor.
- Attend fasting for at least 4 hours.
- Tell your doctor if you have an allergy to any medication.
- Visit the surgical ambulance on the ground floor on the specified date and hour determined by the doctor.
- Fasting for 8 hours before surgery.
- Shave the surgical site well and shower on the morning of surgery.
- Adherence to prescribed oral medications according to the surgeon’s instructions.
- Visit the Radiology Department on the ground floor on the specified date and hour determined by the department.
- Fasting for at least 8 hours (especially in gallbladder evaluation).
- Visit the Radiology Department on the ground floor on the specified date and hour determined by the department.
- If the CT scan is with injections, you must fast for several hours before the procedure.
- Tell your doctor if you have any history of sensitivity to the contrast material.
- Shower before surgery, taking care to clean the abdomen with sterile soap, avoiding using used blades or cutting the area.
- Fasting from food and liquids at least 6 hours before surgery.
- Follow up on treatment in the event of chronic medications, while adhering to the recommendations of the gynecologist or other consultant physician.
- If there are recommendations for bowel preparation, please commit to taking the medications prescribed for bowel preparation on time.
